Something to think about.
Subject: Moses
Moses and the people were in the desert but what was he to do with them? They had to be fed. Feeding 2-3 million people requires a lot of food. According to the Quartermaster General in the US Army, it would take 1,500 tons of food daily. It would
require two freight trains, each a mile long, to bring that much food.
They would need 4,000 tons of firewood a day to just cook the food.
Just think, they were there 40 years in transit! They had to also have water. If they had only enough water to
drink and
wash a few dishes it would take 11 million gallons each day and a freight train
with tank cars 1,800 miles long just to bring the water!
And another thing, they had to cross the Red Sea in one night! If they went the narrow path, double file, the line would be 800 miles long and would require 35 days and nights to get through. So, there had to be a space in the Red Sea at least three
miles wide so they could walk approximately 5,000 abreast to cross in one night.
Then there was another problem. Each time they camped at the end of the day they required a campground two-thirds the size of the state of Rhode Island, or a total of 750 square miles. Think about it! This amount of space for one night of camping!
Do you think Moses figured all this out before he left Egypt? I think not! You see, Moses believed in God.
Moses had faith in God. God took care of these things for him.
Now, do you think God has any problems taking care of all your needs?!
